Our Story
Rooted in Donegal,
shaped by the sea
For over 100 years, McGrory's has welcomed people to the edge of Inishowen with good food, great music, and pint poured with care. Today, Doherty Hospitality carries that same spirit across three coastal venues - McGrory's, The Eagle, and The Queens.
From Culdaff to Glasthule and Dalkey, our story is a simple one. Warm welcomes, honest hospitality, and places people return to time and again. The menus change with the seasons. The faces behind the bar change over the years. The feeling never does.
"We never set out to build a group. We set out to build places you would want to come back to."

Our Venues
Places worth
seeking out
Whether you are pulling up a stool in Glasthule, catching a session in Culdaff, or sitting down to dinner in Dalkey, every Doherty venue is a place worth being. Three venues, each its own world - shaped by its coast, its community, and the people who call it their local.

The spirit of Donegal
in a bottle
Born from the rugged coastline of County Donegal, every bottle carries the weight of its landscape - the Atlantic winds, the unhurried seasons, and a family that has never once mistaken speed for quality.
Doherty Irish Whiskey’s 5 Year Old Blend and 12 Year Old Single Grain are crafted with patience and character. Matured in hand-selected bourbon and sherry casks, each bottle is shaped by time alone - smoky, rich, no fillers and no shortcuts.
Named with intention. Made without compromise.
